Philadelphia partner Doug Raymond authored an article in Directors & Boards titled, “The Tenured Director: Co-opted or Invaluable?” with assistance from Philadelphia associate Greer Longer. The article weighed into the current debate over board tenure and refreshment. “It [is] important that directors consider carefully how their board functions, and whether it has the appropriate balance of knowledge, experience and support of management, as well as objectivity and a healthy dose of skepticism,” said Doug.
