For a second time, Ryan Miske, partner in Faegre Baker Daniels’ corporate group, moderated a panel of M&A experts to explore the Minnesota deal market in a discussion that was transcribed in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.
The three-person panel, which included attorneys and business executives from Larkin Hoffman, Quazar Capital Corp., and Wipfli Corporate Finance Advisors, discussed how 2016 will compare to 2015 for deal volume and trends.
Miske asked the panel what makes it a good time for a company to consider selling, and what steps companies should take to enhance its value to potential buyers. The panelists stressed the importance of early planning throughout the sale process, and all agreed that a financial advisor is key to a successful deal team.
