Biorefinery Assistance Program Changes Now in Effect

In an article published in Ethanol Producer Magazine, Faegre Baker Daniels partner John Kirkwood assessed how revisions to the Biorefinery, Renewable Chemical and Biobased Product Manufacturing Assistance Program—a federal government program that provides loan guarantees to parties that invest in advanced biofuels and renewable chemicals—will impact stakeholders in biorefineries and biobased manufacturing facilities.

As Kirkwood explained, the revisions tweak a number of aspects of the program, including the application process, project funding requirements and the eligibility requirements for biorefineries.
