On August 7, 2013, a California judge denied class action certification of claims challenging labeling statements on Pharmavite's vitamin E supplement, Law360 reported. U.S. District Court Judge George H. King refused to grant class status because of conflicting testimony by the plaintiff about her purchase of the product, and the plaintiff's close relationship with her counsel.
