Law360 Notes Joe Price's Role in Obtaining Favorable Decision on Appeal for Pfizer, Pharmacia

As Law360 reports, on May 31 the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a lower court's decision that Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals Inc.,  Pfizer Inc. and Pharmacia Corp. aren't liable for a man's gambling and other compulsive behaviors in multidistrict litigation over alleged side effects of Parkinson's treatment Mirapex.

In its opinion, the Eighth Circuit concurred with the lower court that because the plaintiff knew of the possible connection between his use of Mirapex and his behavioral issues more than two years before filing suit, his claims fell outside the statute of limitations.
