Bruce Engler Weighs in on the Status of the M&A Market in the Star Tribune

Bruce Engler, head of the firm's M&A practice, shared his expectations for the final quarter of 2012 in the M&A market with the Minneapolis Star Tribune. Engler said, "I sense that many potential buyers and sellers are hanging back due to concerns about the upcoming elections, the unresolved 'fiscal cliff' and the related issue of tax rates, problems in the Eurozone, and slowing global growth. I think most potential sellers have concluded that Congress will kick the can down the road again rather than risking a recession. Overall, I am optimistic that as some clarity develops on these issues, we will see a strong M&A market in 2013."
