On May 26, comprehensive renewable fuels legislation was signed into law in Iowa. The new law creates additional tax credits and extends and increases prior incentives to promote biofuel sales and production in the state. In their article, "Iowa Expands Renewable Fuels Incentives," written for Ethanol Producer Magazine, Andy Anderson and Adam Thimmesch review the main provisions of the law to help ethanol companies nationwide learn from what Iowa is doing and factor this into their economic plans.
