On June 12, the Boulder DailyCamera published an analysis of the CEO pay packages at eight of the largest public companies based in Colorado's Boulder and Broomfield counties. In the article, Doug Wright acknowledged that individuals who are feeling the pain of 9 percent unemployment find it difficult to see executive compensation at the levels that some CEOs attain.
On the other hand, it's hard to compare the two groups, Wright added, because of the CEOs' actions, decisions and the potential value for shareholders and the livelihoods of employees.
