New Law Mandates Accessible Health Care

Washington, D.C., managing government relations director Ilisa Halpern Paul, and government relations director Jeremy Scott, members of the Government & Regulatory Affairs Practice Group, authored an article entitled, “New Law Mandates Accessible Health Care.” The article, published in the winter 2011 issue of Insights into Spina Bifida, highlights the Spina Bifida community’s accomplishments throughout the last session of Congress, such as the introduction of the "Debbie Blanchard Access to Health Care for Individuals with Disabilities Act of 2010" in the Senate, and the "Spina Bifida Awareness Month Resolution" in the House.
