Updates
As the carnival barker used to say when you were a kid, "Hurry, Hurry, Hurry. Step right up to claim your prize." Or, in this case, your early retiree reimbursement money. HHS has published a draft application, instructions and an FAQ to be used to claim a portion of the $5 billion set aside under the Early Retiree Reimbursement Program (ERRP).
Although HHS is not expected to start accepting ERRP applications until later this month, those filing an application should get started on it ASAP. Question 75 of our Health Reform Q&A for Employers has been updated to reflect this new documentation.
