City of Noblesville (IN) Approves New Road Impact Fees

The Noblesville City Council approved a new road impact fee schedule at its June 15, 2010, meeting.  A summary of the proposed road impact fee changes can be found here. Notably, at its May 25, 2010, meeting, the City Council discussed its goal to competitively position the city for new economic development by keeping the road impact fees low, if possible. The new fees actually have been reduced in some parts of the city.

The new road impact fees will be as follows:

                                           Current Fee          New Fee

Area 1 (west of river)     $200/trip              $121/trip

Area 2 (east of river)      $130/trip              $147/trip

Area 3 (east of river)      $130/trip              $160/trip

Wayne Township             No fee                  $59/trip

The new road impact fees will go into effect January 1, 2011.
