NFL Scouting Combine Uses Baker & Daniels Club at Stadium
The NFL Scouting Combine is set up in the Baker & Daniels Club on the east side of Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, according to a story by ColtPower.com.
Out in the concourse, the NFL Network has a small table set up to do interviews, the story reported. Inside the Baker & Daniels Club, there are three stages, set up in a 'T' with a podium at each corner of the 'T'. The arrangement is definitely geared for TV, and the NFL Network cameras are set up in the middle of the 'T' in order to shoot at all three stages, according to ColtPower.com. There are also tables set off to the side of each stage for players to conduct extra interviews, and the media tables are arranged along the sides of the main area, according to the story.
At the Combine, 332 draft-eligible players were put through a series of medical, psychological and physical tests as well as interviews with the 32 NFL teams in preparation for the April 25-26 draft. Players are invited by a panel consisting of the directors of the National and BLESTO scouting services and various NFL personnel experts. The Combine ran from Feb. 18-24.
