City of Noblesville Approves Amendments to Unified Development Ordinance & Fee Schedule
The City of Noblesville recently approved a series of amendments to its Unified Development Ordinance (which governs development, zoning and subdivision of land within the City's planning and zoning jurisdiction). The City also amended its fee schedule for permits and applications.
Highlights of the changes include:

- Added $600 Architectural Review Board filing fee
- Change of zoning filing fee increased from $525 plus $25 per acre to:
- Residential $800 plus $35 per lot
- Non-Residential $900 plus $65 per lot
- The City's amended fee schedule becomes effective April 1, 2009

- Allows up to 2 1-year extensions for building permits. Subsequent extensions require BZA approval
Conditional Certificate of Occupancy (click here to view .pdf)
- Valid for 30 days
- For non-residential structures permits stocking and shelving etc. but not for use by general public
- For residential structures permits occupying the structure
