The 2007 tax bills for Hamilton County were mailed on July 9, 2008, with a due date of July 30, 2008. Taxpayers have a window of 45 days from the date the tax bills are mailed to file real property tax appeals contesting the new March 1, 2007, assessed values.
This is the last opportunity to contest the 2007 (pay 2008) real estate taxes in Hamilton County. Since subsequent tax values will be based on the new values, it is imperative to closely review the new values.
