Washington, D.C., government relations director Jodie Curtis of the Government and Regulatory Affairs Practice Group authored “Improving Access to Workers’ Compensation for Injured Federal Worker Act (HR 4654/S1795).” The article, published in the June 2008 issue of The Journal for Nurse Practitioners, discusses legislation that will allow nurse practitioners and physician assistants to be included as covered health care providers under the Federal Employees’ Compensation Act.
