Medical Homes and Nurse Practitioners

Washington, D.C., government relations director Jodie Curtis of the Government and Regulatory Affairs Practice Group authored “Medical Homes and Nurse Practitioners.” The article, published in the May 2008 issue of The Journal for Nurse Practitioners, discusses legislation relating to medical home care, the use of one provider to coordinate care between primary care providers, specialists and other health services, and using nurse practitioners in these positions.
