HHS Secretary Has Discretion to Add NPs to Medical Home Demos
Washington, D.C., government relations director Jodie Curtis of the Government and Regulatory Affairs Practice Group authored “HHS Secretary Has Discretion to Add NPs to Medical Home Demos.” The article, published in the October 2008 issue of The Journal for Nurse Practitioners, gives an update on the Medicare Improvement for Patients and Providers Act of 2008 and the role of the secretary of Health and Human Services in allowing nurse practitioners as providers in medical home care demonstrations.
