Whistleblowers: A Survey of Rules and Recent Activity

This presentation was comprised of a review of recent developments in whistleblower rules and litigation and what they mean for life insurers, including: qui tam lawsuits brought under state false claims acts for alleged failure to comply with unclaimed property laws; the SEC whistleblower program as recently modified by the Dodd-Frank Act; and the IRS whistleblower program.
