When Compliance, Claims and the Law Collide: Trial by Jury

Philadelphia partner Stephen Serfass and associate Michael Rafalko participated in a mock trial presentation at the Long Term Care International Forum in Tampa, Florida on May 7, 2010.  Other participants of this interactive session included Denise Liston of LifePlans, Aaron Ball of Genworth Financial, Mike Weglarz of Lifeline Screening, Joanne Masters of MetLife, and Karen Smyth of Prudential. The session highlighted key lessons learned from recent LTCi cases and illustrated strategies to avoid litigation.
