Overview
Philadelphia partner Steve Serfass spoke about, “Privacy Requirements and Risks: A Proactive Approach” at the Intercompany Long Term Care Insurance Conference.
An LTCi carrier’s privacy obligations are evolving. From the new HIPAA requirements to a rise in cyber-crime and security breach litigation, this session included analysis of today’s privacy obligations and risks. There was also a discussion of examples of and best practices for taking a proactive approach to mitigating carriers’ privacy risk.
