Is Long Term Care Insurance Dead?

Philadelphia partner Stephen Serfass moderated a panel of long term care insurance experts at the Tenth Annual Intercompany Long Term Care Insurance Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana on March 14, 2010.  The panel consisted of Dennis Healy, Vice President, John Hancock Financial Services, Diane Turro, Director of Account Management, Group Long Term Care, MetLife Long-Term Care, and Jim Von Bruchhaeuser, LTC Career Account Manager, MedAmerica.  The panel delved into current issues facing long term care insurance, including rate increases, participation rates, web enrollments, and partnerships.
