Chicago Director of Trade Security & Supply Chain Services Karen Lobdell will give two presentations at the Consumer Healthcare Products Association 2010 Manufacturing Controls Seminar. Karen will present "Facilitating Imports - Will a Holistic Approach Work?" discussing the increased focus on supply chain security and product safety which have led to new efforts towards a more holistic approach to managing imports. Her talk will touch on possible changes to managing the import process that are currently under discussion with U.S. Customs and Border Protection, including consideration of Centers of Expertise, Single Partnership Programs and better collaboration amongst the various government agencies.
