Philadelphia partner Jerry Goodman spoke at the National Association of College and University Attorneys Annual Conference on Thursday, June 28, in Chicago, Ill.

Jerry joined Roman Petyk, Associate General Counsel, University of Pennsylvania, to present, "Construction Contracts: The Ten (or so) Most Important Construction Contract Provisions."

The presentation included a review of the most significant provisions in a construction contract from the perspective of the university as owner, including: payment procedures; definition of substantial and final completion; description of architect’s role and coordination; delays and causation consequences; defaults; damages and remedies; cost overruns; and change orders.
