Chicago Region Supply Chain and Competitiveness Exchange

Chicago Director of Trade Security & Supply Chain Services Karen Lobdell will serve as a panelist at the Chicago Region Supply Chain and Competitiveness Exchange. The event, hosted by the Department of Commerce and Department of Transport, is designed for representatives of businesses, consumers, providers and users, and interested members of the public from the Chicago region to share their suggestions and potential solutions to improving transportation system performance with senior representatives of the Commerce and Transportation Departments. The event will include an update on current federal freight infrastructure initiatives and efforts, a facilitated and topic-focused exchange with a selected group of industry leaders, and a moderated session of comments from a broader set of audience participants. The Departments of Commerce and Transportation are seeking individual rather than consensus or group advice from the attendees.
