Renewable Energy and Natural Gas: Friend? Foe? Or Both?

Overview

Christopher Berendt, of counsel to the firm’s Washington, D.C., office, spoke Sept. 14 at an American Council On Renewable Energy (ACORE) webinar titled, “Renewable Energy and Natural Gas:  Friend? Foe? Or Both?”

Chris, a member of the Environment & Energy Practice Group and leader of its Environmental Markets Team, joined a panel discussion of the potential role of the combined resources of renewables and natural gas in meeting future power needs.

The speakers discussed whether a combination of renewable energy and natural gas-fired generation could build on their relative strengths and create energy that is both reliable and more environmentally beneficial.
