Product liability and mass torts partner Elizabeth Christen joined a panel at the 2026 Products Liability & Life Sciences Regional CLE Program titled “Beyond the Chart: Overreliance on Treating Physicians,” examining the legal risks of substituting a plaintiff’s treating physician for a dedicated causation expert.

The session explored recent procedural developments under Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 26(a)(2) and provided actionable blueprints for challenging or defending treater testimony that includes insufficiently unsupported causation opinions.
