Privacy Trends in Litigation

Qiusi Newcom, an associate in Faegre Drinker’s San Francisco office, is serving as co-chair of the Federal Communications Bar Association’s (FCBA) data security committee. In that capacity she is co-organizing the 17th Annual FCBA/American Bar Association Privacy and Data Security Symposium. During the webinar, she will also be moderating a panel titled “Privacy Trends in Litigation.” The panel will share their insights on standing state laws that afford a private right of action including the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act and the California Consumer Privacy Act.
