Nick Manetto Provides Perspective on Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Industry Policy to George Washington University Students

Overview

Faegre Drinker Consulting principal Nick Manetto spoke to students from George Washington University’s (GW) Investment Institute about policies within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, particularly with regards to a new initiative involving 3D printing of personal protective equipment (PPE). The Investment Institute provides undergraduate and graduate students with an opportunity to invest and manage capital in targeted sector. Manetto provided the students with an overview of how federal law and policies significantly impact the biopharmaceutical sector and spoke about current and looming issues.  

Manetto was asked to return to the GW Investment Institute on March 22, 2021 for a follow-up presentation on the latest policies within the biopharmaceutical sector, including updates made by the Biden Administration.
