Diversity Inclusion & Health Equity Symposium
Overview
Drinker Biddle’s Chicago office hosted the Center for Healthcare Innovation’s (CHI) Ninth Annual Diversity, Inclusion, & Health Equity Symposium on June 26, 2019. The Symposium drew more than 200 leading health care professionals, executives, physicians, patient groups, patients, researchers, academics, clinical trial professionals, and diversity and inclusion advocates. Discussions centered on the latest trends, challenges and opportunities in the marketplace and the workplace, with a specific focus on how to best serve an increasingly diverse patient base. Attendees came away with the latest insights, perspectives and ideas to tackle practical solutions along with their industry and marketplace colleagues.
Chicago partner Douglas Swill, Drinker Biddle’s Health Care Group practice leader, is a member of CHI’s Board of Directors. Rachel Ryan, a partner in Drinker Biddle’s Health Care Practice, provided closing remarks on Drinker Biddle’s commitment to Diversity and to serving the health care industry.
