Bob Stoll Speaks at IPWatchdogs Patent Masters Program

Overview

On June 24 and 25 of 2019, Washington, DC, partner and cochair of the IP Group, Bob Stoll, participated in IPWatchdog’s Patent Masters Symposium. Bob led the discussion on 101 guidance changes at the USPTO.

The Symposium was also the third in the series and included experts in the patent world. The event also focused on the impact of Alice and especially the approaches for navigating Section 101 law in the present and in the future. The two-day event additionally included themes of the USPTO’s incentive system for examiners and Patent Trial and Appeal Board judges, the culture at the USPTO, comparing the U.S. patent examination system to Europe’s, and tips for patent application writing.
