Jonathan Tarnow Discusses Outsourcing Companies in the Education Industry

Washington D.C. partner Jonathan Tarnow moderated a panel, titled “A Nontraditional Way to Invest in Education – Investing in K-12 and Postsecondary Outsourcing Companies” at the semi-annual Capital Roundtable conference on private equity investing in the education industry on January 15, 2019.

The panel discussed the dramatic growth in technology and services companies at all levels of the education sector, including new business models that involve outsourcing of entire functional areas of schools, colleges and universities. Jonathan was joined on the panel by Matthew Greenfield, Managing Partner of ReThink Education; John Katzman, Founder and CEO of Noodle Education Inc.; Troy Williams, Managing Director at University Ventures Fund; and Kelly Fuller of BMO Capital Markets.
