Bob Stoll Speaks Dolby Laboratories Legal Summit

Bob Stoll, partner and co-chair of the Intellectual Property group in Washington, D.C., spoke at the Dolby Laboratories’ Legal Summit, which was attended by over 100 Dolby attorneys, on April 19, 2018, in Half Moon Bay, Cal.

Bob’s discussion focused on the following topics: (1) an overview of the political landscape, including expectations relating to the new United States Patent and Trademark Office Director Andrei Iancu; (2) key macro trends relating to patent and patent protection; and (3) IP policy aspects, including the attributes of a patent system that affect innovation.
