Policies, Permitting, Financing, Constructing, Commissioning: Lessons Learned in Development and Deployment of Microgrids

Overview

Please join Drinker Biddle Environment and Energy partner Christopher Berendt at Microgrid 2.0 — Advancing Industry Growth, presented by the Microgrid Resources Coalition (MRC) and the International District Energy Association (IDEA).

Veteran industry leaders will come together with federal, state, and local regulators in Baltimore, Maryland, October 29-31, to discuss and explore best practices in moving microgrids to market. FERC Commissioner Cheryl A. LaFleur will provide a keynote address on Monday October 29.

Also on October 29, Christopher will moderate Plenary Panel 2: “Policies, Permitting, Financing, Constructing, Commissioning: Lessons Learned in Development and Deployment of Microgrids.”

Panelists will discuss the full gestation cycle from concept to commissioning, and share best practices on accelerating deployment for multi-user microgrids in various market segments including institutions, military bases, health care, research clusters, central business districts and mission-critical services.

At Microgrid 2.0 you will hear from leading microgrid developers, financiers, vendors, operators and hosts/anchor customers, along with distributional utilities and state and federal regulators, who will share real world microgrid experience. The last microgrid conference sold out, so book soon to learn about the policies that will foster microgrid development.
