What Do the Section 232 National Security Investigations Mean for You?

This was the first in a series of complimentary webinars by the Customs and International Trade team on the implications of the Trump administration’s positions on trade policy.

In this webinar, partner Douglas Heffner and counsel Richard Ferrin reviewed the recommendations made by the Secretary of Commerce to President Trump concerning the Section 232 national security investigations on imported steel and aluminum.

The session guided attendees through the proposed relief, scope of the proposed relief, countries included and potential reception or threatened retaliation by trading partners.
