2017 AIPLA Women in IP National Networking Event
Overview
Drinker Biddle hosted the 10th annual Women in IP National Networking Event in conjunction with the American Intellectual Property Law Association on Thursday, May 4th in our Washington, D.C. office.
Sarah Harris, General Counsel for the USPTO, was the special guest and speaker at the event. In a session titled, “Transforming to New,” Sarah discussed how to focus on transforming yourself, your team, and your organization. Sharing her experiences in both the private and public sector, and looking at the similarities and differences when there is a leadership change in a corporation or law firm. Sarah also offered advice for when YOU are put in as the new leader.
The evening began with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, followed by dinner and a presentation.
