Jessica Benson Cox Named a 2026 "Woman of Influence" by Indianapolis Business Journal

Product liability and mass torts partner Jessica Benson Cox was named a 2026 “Woman of Influence” by the Indianapolis Business Journal. The award recognizes women who have “risen to the highest levels of business, the arts, and community and public service in central Indiana.”

Cox is a nationally recognized trial lawyer and co-chair of Faegre Drinker’s pharmaceutical and medical device practice team. She represents leading pharmaceutical and medical device companies in high-stakes product liability and mass tort litigation involving complex scientific and medical issues. Her legal successes have earned national recognition, including Chambers USA ranking for Product Liability Litigation, Law360’s Rising Star award, Indianapolis Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 award, and the Indiana State Bar Association’s Outstanding Young Lawyer Award.

At Faegre Drinker, Cox serves as co-chair of the pharmaceutical and medical device practice team, where she helps shape strategy and client development across a team comprised of 85 lawyers. She also puts a priority on mentoring future attorneys, particularly women litigators, by coaching young lawyers on trial strategy and complex scientific litigation.

Dedicated to community service, Cox serves on Park Tudor School’s Board of Directors and recently co-chaired the school’s strategic planning process. She also formerly served on the Board of Directors of the Indiana Chapter of Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. She has volunteered with Dress for Success Indianapolis and has dedicated substantial pro bono hours to vulnerable populations, including securing a significant settlement in a prisoner civil rights case.
