Jaime Abigail Quick Brings Family Law to FaegreBD Minneapolis

Jaime Abigail Quick has joined Faegre Baker Daniels as counsel in the firm’s Minneapolis office.

Quick brings extensive experience to clients in all areas of marital and family law, both at the trial and appellate levels. She assists clients by advising, negotiating and litigating high net worth contested divorces involving complex business and income valuation issues, as well as disputed spousal maintenance and child custody matters.

Furthermore, Quick advises clients in the area of asset protection—utilizing tools such as pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements to meet individual needs. Additionally, she continues to advise corporations and other business entities when marital and family law issues arise in its daily operations or that of its executives. Quick is also experienced in commercial and probate litigation, as well as estate and guardianship administration.

Prior to joining FaegreBD, she was a partner at a mid-sized, full-service law firm in Palm Beach County, FL, where she chaired the marital and family law department. Quick also owned and managed her own family law firm in Palm Beach County, FL for more than a decade and worked as an associate in the litigation department at Edwards & Angell, LLP (presently known as Locke Lord)—practicing commercial and probate litigation.

Quick received her bachelor’s degree in legal studies from the University of Central Florida in 1997 and earned her law degree from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center, summa cum laude, in 2001. She is admitted to practice law in both Florida and Minnesota.
