Jen Breuer Serves as Editor of AHLA Telehealth Law Handbook

Chicago partner Jen Breuer was selected by the American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA) to serve as editor of the second edition of Telehealth Law Handbook: A Practical Guide to Virtual Care. She also serves as a co-chair of the AHLA’s Telemedicine Work Group of its Health Information Technology Task Force. The AHLA is the nation’s largest nonpartisan 501(c)(3) educational organization committed to legal issues in the health care industry. The Telehealth Law Handbook examines legal influences on telehealth relationships and provides readers with a deeper understanding of the complex rules related to this method of health care delivery. The book discusses topics such as licensing, telehealth regulatory requirements, payment and reimbursement, and emerging legal and ethical issues in telehealth.
