Law360 Names Andrea Roberts Pierson an MVP in Product Liability Law

Andrea Roberts Pierson, Faegre Baker Daniels partner and co-leader of the firm’s drug and device practice, has been named one of five 2018 MVP’s by Law360 in the product liability law category.

The publication’s MVPs series recognizes attorneys for securing hard-earned successes in high-stakes litigation, complex global matters and record-breaking deals. Law360 received more than 1,000 submissions for 2018.

Pierson is a seasoned products liability trial lawyer who has defended product manufacturers and sellers in more than 40 different federal and state courts across the country. Her primary focus is the defense of mass torts, particularly those involving prescription medical devices. She is co-lead counsel to one of the world's largest orthopedic device manufacturers in pending multidistrict litigation; is lead counsel to a significant manufacturer of vascular products in multidistrict federal and state court litigation; and is settlement counsel to a manufacturer in multidistrict federal litigation.

Law360 recognized Pierson because of her major defense victories this year for creators of artificial joints and implantable vena cava blood filters in large-scale, multidistrict litigation.
