In Memoriam: Mike Smithwick, Former Chief Operating Officer of Drinker Biddle & Reath

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our former Chief Operating Officer Mike Smithwick on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at his home surrounded by family.

Mike led our firm’s administrative operations from 1990 – 2005. A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., he resided in Medford, N.J., since 1990 and was a member of the Medford Lakes Country Club. He was also a U.S. Air Force veteran and after leaving Drinker Biddle served as a mediator at the Burlington County Court House.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Angela, and three children.
