Drinker Biddle’s Health Care Team Earns National Distinctions

PHILADELPHIA – Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP’s Health Care Practice Group recently received national recognition from Chambers USA and the American Bar Association (ABA) Health Law Section.

The group was ranked nationwide for health care in Chambers USA 2016, whose rankings are widely accepted as the international standard for legal excellence. Drinker Biddle was also named a “Top 10 Health Law Firm” in two regions – No. 8 in the Northeast and No. 10 in the Midwest – by the ABA Health Law Section, a preeminent member-run group entirely focused on the myriad issues involved in health law.

Chambers USA bases its annual rankings on client and peer references, as well as research conducted by its team of more than 140 full-time researchers. Criteria include technical legal ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial astuteness, diligence, commitment and other qualities valued by clients.

The recognition from the ABA is determined solely by Health Law Section membership as reported to the American Bar Association.

Chambers USA said the Health Care team is known as an “[a]ccomplished health care group that regularly acts for nationwide networks, health care systems and hospitals. [The team] acts on high-value transactions and regulatory compliance across a range of issues, as well as fielding niche expertise in areas such as health IT.”

One client interviewed by Chambers USA said, "It's a great team that is well diversified and talented. I feel very secure with their knowledge and ability to get things done."
