Governor Chris Christie Nominates Alumnus Russell Passamano to the NJ Superior Court

On Monday, June 15, Governor Chris Christie nominated Alumnus Russell Passamano to the Superior Court in Essex County, NJ. The Governor nominated 13 other individuals to the Superior Court.
Russell joined Shanley & Fisher, P.C. in 1986 and remained with the firm through 1995. He is currently a partner in the law firm DeCotiis, FitzPatrick & Cole, LLP and practices primarily in the area of shareholder disputes, estate and trust litigation and commercial litigation. He also represents defendants in bankruptcy preference and fraudulent conveyance litigation.
The judicial nominations must be vetted by the Senate Judiciary Committee and approved by the full Senate.
