Cheryl Orr Recognized as a Top Labor and Employment Attorney in California

Cheryl Orr, partner and chair of Drinker Biddle’s national Labor and Employment Practice, has been recognized as a Top Labor and Employment attorney in California by the Daily Journal.  The list, published on June 3, 2015, recognizes California’s top attorneys who have made a significant impact in employment and labor law. 

Orr has successfully defended more than 20 wage and hour class and collective actions in the last year alone for well-known national consumer brands while maintaining a full caseload of single plaintiff cases.  The write-up highlights a particular recent run of successes West Coast L&E attorneys (including Kate Gold, Phil Lebel, Jaime Walter and Valerie Kahn) have obtained for longstanding client, Kaplan Inc.

“You’re always postured as a lead, but you certainly can’t take credit for it all. We’re a team,” said Orr.
