Melissa Economy Adds to FaegreBD's Chicago Real Estate Team

Melissa A. Economy has joined the Chicago office of Faegre Baker Daniels, further building on the firm’s expansion in Chicago.

Economy will practice as counsel in the real estate group. She focuses on representing clients in commercial acquisitions, development, dispositions, leases and financing. She also has broad litigation experience, including in major real estate-related litigation.

Economy clerked for the Hon. Joan Ericksen in the District of Minnesota from 2003-05. She received her law degree from the University of Illinois College of Law and two bachelor’s degrees from Carnegie Mellon University.
