Haroon Anwar and Emily Chow Honored as Exceptional Young Minority Attorneys

Haroon Anwar and Emily Chow of Faegre Baker Daniels have been named to Lawyers of Color's 2014 Hot List for the Midwest Region, which recognizes exceptional early- to mid-career minority attorneys.

Honorees—who all work as in-house counsel, government attorneys or law firm associates or partners—were selected through nominations from mentors, peers and colleagues, and research into bar association publications and legal blogs to identify promising candidates.

Haroon Anwar is an associate on FaegreBD's litigation and advocacy team where he focuses his practice on complex civil litigation and product liability litigation, with a particular emphasis on drug and medical device litigation. He also advises manufacturers and other clients on regulatory and general business matters. Anwar is active in FaegreBD's diversity and inclusion initiatives and pro bono efforts.

Emily Chow is an associate who practices antitrust and complex commercial litigation. She represents clients in federal and state court, as well as in class action and multidistrict litigation. Chow has dedicated significant time to pro bono efforts, including LGBT civil rights advocacy work. She is an adjunct professor at the William Mitchell College of Law.

Anwar and Chow were profiled in Lawyers of Color's Hot List 2014 issue in July 2014.
