Drinker Biddle Practices, Lawyers Earn Top Client Recognition in Chambers USA 2014

More than 55 lawyers from many of Drinker Biddle & Reath’s 16 practice groups have been recognized as leaders in their fields by Chambers and Partners, an international publisher of guides to the world’s top lawyers.

The 2014 edition of Chambers USA recognized the firm’s investment funds: registered funds group nationally, and gave the highest possible ranking to the firm’s environmental, litigation: insurance, employee benefits & compensation and real estate practices.  Individual lawyers in the firm’s health care, environmental, banking and finance, labor & employment, litigation, bankruptcy and real estate groups also received the highest possible ranking, based on client interviews performed by Chambers and Partners’ research staff.

Chambers USA bases its annual ranking on client and peer references.  Presented in bands from one – the highest – to six, rankings can be regional or national in scope.  Criteria used includes technical legal ability, professional conduct, client service, commercial astuteness, diligence, commitment and other qualities valued by clients.

Clients interviewed by the publication described Drinker Biddle as “having great strength in depth across different areas at the firm” and “phenomenal, they understand our financial constraints.”   Drinker Biddle lawyers were credited as being “client-focused, very honest and straightforward” and “extremely knowledgeable, bright and very efficient.”

“We strive to provide superior legal work and exceptional client service, and receiving client feedback that lets us know we’re on target is always very gratifying,” said Alfred W. Putnam, Jr., Chairman of Drinker Biddle.
