Cheryl Orr Quoted in Los Angeles Times Story "Lawsuit challenges a Hollywood pillar: Unpaid internships"

Cheryl was quoted in a Los Angeles Times story on the entertainment industry's use of unpaid interns and the trend of suits brought by unpaid interns alleging violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act, including a recent class action filed by former interns who worked on the 2010 film "Black Swan". As entertainment companies have come under heavy scrutiny many are requiring that interns earn school credit, but, Cheryl said this "does not exempt companies from having to adhere to federal guidelines for unpaid internships."
