Patrick O'Connor Takes Office as President of American College of Construction Lawyers

Patrick O'Connor, partner in Faegre Baker Daniels' construction and real estate litigation practice, began his term as president of the American College of Construction Lawyers (ACCL) Feb. 22.

The ACCL is an invitation-only organization of lawyers who have demonstrated skill, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice or teaching of construction law, and who are dedicated to excellence. The ACCL provides advanced professional workshops and educational programs to its fellows and identifies and contributes to solving major construction industry legal problems.

O'Connor has been a member of the ACCL since 2002, having served on the executive committee for six years prior to being elected president.

O'Connor has been with FaegreBD for more than 20 years, and has extensive experience advising and representing clients in contract negotiations involving power plants, waste water treatment facilities, waste incineration facilities, and other large industrial projects. He has a bachelor's degree from Hamline University and received his J.D. at the American University Washington College of Law.
