Faegre Baker Daniels Product Liability Practice Receives Repeat Recognition

Legal Media Group (LMG) has listed the product liability litigation practice at Faegre Baker Daniels LLP as "Recommended" for the Non-IP Litigation & Enforcement category of its firm rankings.

Life Sciences, the publication from LMG, also recognized partners James A. O'Neal and Joseph M. Price for their non-IP litigation work, designating them as 2013 Life Science Stars.

FaegreBD was noted for its product liability practice group, being described as "one of the most reliable practices in the country," and cited the team's work with household industry names such as Pfizer, Pharmacia and Novaritis Pharmaceuticals.

The guide also highlighted Joseph Price for his work in drug and device litigation for four decades. He has overseen litigation concerning a wide range of products, including mammary implants, intrauterine devices, orthopedic prostheses, over-the-counter drugs and various chemicals.

O'Neal has handled complex product liability litigation for more than 30 years, including high-profile, national matters on behalf of Novaritis Pharmaceuticals. He has also defended hormone therapy products and food companies during national recalls.

Firms were selected for recognition in the Life Sciences guide based on surveys and interviews with clients, leading lawyers and industry partners and public information.

Faegre Baker Daniels' drug and device litigation practice represents medical device and pharmaceutical clients in nearly every U.S. state and Europe, handling complex medical mass torts, multidistrict litigation and high-exposure individual cases.
