Alumnus Nancy Laethem Stern named Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Allstone Holdings LLC

Alumnus Nancy Laethem Stern has joined Chicago-based Allston Holdings LLC, parent of one of the nation's leading proprietary electronic trading firms, as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. The company's CEO Raj Mahajan said, "Nancy will play a critical role not only in overseeing all of our legal and compliance functions, but also in helping to ensure that the firm remains fully engaged with - and responsive to - the ever-changing regulatory environment."
Nancy began her legal career as a clerk for the Honorable Robert H. Cleland, U.S. District Judge in the Eastern District of Michigan and then joined Gardner, Carton & Douglas LLP (nka Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP) in 1996. Nancy later became partner at the firm and practiced here until 2006.
